Hello, everyone! I'm currently typing this on my brand new Kindle Fire. I had no idea I was going to get something like this but I'm so glad I did. It's wicked awesome, though the touch screen typing thing will take some getting used to.

Anyways, I was doing some New Year's cleaning and found some of my old artwork. I don't have a list but a few of it is CF and MSI related so if anyone is even remotely interested, let me know and I'll send them along! I figure I should see if anyone wants to give them a good home before I throw them out. More details to come!

Have a happy new year!

Cyanide.

Being in college didn't really afford me chances to draw very much, other than the occasional god awful notebook sketch. This dA place is a ghost town now, anyways, so I can't imagine too many of you have noticed. Also, I tend to draw Supernatural things now because that show sucked me in hard.

Anyways, I'll be leaving for the summer so perhaps I'll have drawings done for whenever I get back. I believe a new sketchbook is in order upon my return to the big city.

Love and Zombies,
-Cyanide.

So My Chemical Romance live on December 3rd was so worth being $72 in debt and going back home for the weekend and having to endure a 7 hour bus journey back to campus for. It just was. Words cannot adequately describe how awesome seeing MCR back in my hometown after two long years was but I'll give you the close approximation of the setlist because that seems like a good place to start.

Look Alive, Sunshine (Dr. Deathdefying/Steve, Righ? did this IN THE FLESH. The whole crowd flipped a shit, as they should have.)
Na Na Na
Thank You for the Venom
Desolation Row
I'm Not Okay
Planetary (GO!)
House of Wolves
SING
The Ghost of You
(Their new live version of Ghost of You is beautiful is every way, shape, and form. They add a cool intro to it, and they slow it down and it's just...guhhhh, find it online or something because it's fantastic.)
Mama
The Only Hope for Me is You
You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison
Welcome to the Black Parade
Teenagers
DESTROYA
Helena

ENCORE:
Cancer
(this made me cry. Cancer live usually doesn't do that to me, but tonight was a special night and its subject matter hit something relevant to me as of late, so I couldn't help it. I managed to keep it together for the most part.)
The Kids from Yesterday

This isn't exactly in order because I can hardly remember things like order but I know up to Desolation Row its in order and they played DESTROYA before Helena. THEY PLAYED DESTROYA, OMG. ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS OFF THE NEW ALBUM. And I was so looking forward to seeing it live and they didn't disappoint. Gerard said it was the best NYC show they ever played and since I've seen them 5 times and never remember him saying this, I take it as the truth. I think it was the best NYC show I've seen them play. It was beautiful.

I wish they would've played Bulletproof Heart and Vampire Money, and one day, ONE FUCKING DAY, they will once again play To The End and I will flip my fucking shit because that is my namesake song and the song that made me get into them as hardcore as I did. But otherwise, I can't possibly complain.

Now I just have to cherish this evening while I plow through my finals and maybe, just maybe, I'll see fit to draw something over break. As if anyone is really noticing or keeping tabs.

Love and Zombies,
-Cyanide

P.S. I'm not sure whether I love or hate dA selling me Inception. I love it because that means there are good looking people on my dA all the time (and by good looking, I mainly mean Eames, but the whole crew cleans up nicely, I don't have to tell you that) but it also means that they keep reminding me that I probably won't have the money to buy it and that buying the blu-ray combo pack when you don't have a blu-ray player is sort of silly but I want the digital copy, goddamn it. Dilemmas, I swear.

Yeah, basically.

This will be my fifth time seeing them and I couldn't be more excited about it. I don't even care if I'm in the fucking back (though I doubt this will happen because I have a way of slipping through people when the moshpit starts because I'm 4'11" and can pull that kind of shit). I haven't seen Chem since May 9th, 2008 at The Garden, fuck, it's been that long.

And I'm 19 now. I will wait forever after the show to meet the boys, Mom, don't start.

Danger Days in 19 days, MCR live in 30. This is the best way to end the year.

Love and Zombies,
-Cyanide.

This is another "Cyanide is still alive" post, because I felt I needed a new one.

I just started my second year of college. I'm enjoying the classes I chose this year and I can't really complain about that too much. I'm mainly busy with reading and trying to formulate a plan for my major, which doesn't leave a lot of time to doodle, much less draw. But hopefully, I'll find a good balance on the weekends.

Such Horrible Things is still undead and kicking. I'll always have enough time to update that little space of the internet.

If you really miss me, I'm far more likely to be lurking here so give that a look.

Hope you're all doing well for yourselves!

Love and Zombies
Forever and Always,
-Sami Cyanide
